Welcome to Mermaid Tales Handmade Jewelry!

I have always loved accessories and fashion but decided to pursue a "safer" career in my twenties.  In college, I would often listen to lectures in my psychology classes and sketch jewelry, wedding gowns and dresses.  After completing grad school, I decided I would make my mark on the world by pursuing a career in mental health.  For many years to follow, I "moon lighted" as a fashion designer/stylist~well sort of~ by dressing and accesorizing my three daughters, making creative costumes~I'm not much of a sewer, and helping friends and family shop and prepare for special events.  

In 2015, I started creating beautiful, unique and affordable jewelry with quality, hand selected materials.

My daughters are my inspiration for just about everything I do. I grew up at the Jersey Shore and my husband and I have raised our family in the same area.  The beach and the ocean have always been a place for us to celebrate, relax, reflect and build memories with our family.

I personally design and create all jewelry in my studio at home at the Jersey Shore.
